Truth

"Incoming call from Sherry," the A.I. of Dr. Alma's astro-ship informed its owner.

"I accept her call," Dr. Alma stated. Moments later, the screen changed and showed Sherry waving.

"Hello, Doc!" she smiled, "How are you?"

"Greetings, Sherry Dee," the nebulanian greeted, "I take it that you are well? We haven't seen you for quite awhile."

"Oh, that!" the lady giggled, "Well, you see...my boyfriend, like, came back into my, like, life and all."

"Oh? The same one you mentioned before?"

"Yes," Sherry giggled, "We, like, finally patched things, like, up! We are, like, much closer than, like, ever before. It was, like, just a misunderstanding."

"Hm. I am glad that had been sorted out and you two are together again," Dr. Alma smiled.

"Oh, and there's another thing..."

"Hm?"

"I was the one that, like, attacked Dr. Blossom months ago..."

"...Sherry Dee, we are not amused..."

"I am serious,” she admitted as she wiped her fringe out of her face, "Doc, I am the Queen Mother of the Mood Drainers..."

"But, that can't be true.."

"I am," Sherry sighed, "Look, I took this form after I was nearly killed by Prince Sebastian's Holy Sword. I was unable to change freely into other forms since my true form had been badly damaged. It had also affected my thinking. For me to be able to function properly again, I had to kidnap Dr. Blossom and force him to stitch me together again so that I can function like normal. I felt kinda bad hurting him, but he deserved it for hurting you so much in the past..."

"..." Dr. Alma rubbed her temples as she tried to process what her friend had told her, "I appreciate the fact that you care for my well-being, but what you did was a crime..."

"I know. I'm sorry. I'll try and make it up for you," Sherry mumbled sheepishly, "But, you could always use your healing touch to make him better? That way, everything should be fine!"

"...Sherry..."

"I mean, like, you could do that and since his hands will be better, he wouldn't need to lay charges against me."

"I'll see if it would work..." Dr. Alma sighed. To be honest, she didn't really believe what Sherry admitted to her. She had said outrageous things before, like the time when she told her that she had dated Time Warp.

"Oh, Eylam is calling me! See you. Bye-bye!" Sherry waved before she hung up.

Dr. Alma sighed in frustration as she stared down at her hands.
