It had been a week since Time Warp had attacked us. Guardian Delle had offered to train us while we live in the astro-ship and try and live like commoners.

Needless to say, it is quite difficult.

Well, we are running out of food and we need to get jobs to help us out.

I never worked before, but it should be no trouble.

I got a job as a waitress and it is much harder than it looks.

I decided to become a salesman and sell goodies to folks. I will also be a nuisance to villains and steal goodies from them.

I will disguise my “Mr. Slick” persona to make him look older. That should be easy with the right clothes, a moustache and some make-up for wrinkles. I think I should disguise my voice as well.

That way, they won’t know figure out that Mr. Slick and I are one and the same…

Folks haven’t realized that this li’l ol’ fella and Bertie are one and the same yet. They believe Mr. Slick is a beau that is too old to be me.

Guardian Delle came to visit us and gave us some lessons to help us control our powers.

She informed us that Time Warp had destroyed several alternative universes and that the few survivors from each universe are living with our counterparts in the main universe.

While I don’t want to admit that, the mere idea of Time Warp being so powerful terrified me…
