Forever

Mr. Slick, Dr. Alma, Bianca, and Estella silently waited for the vuoto to arrive. They held hands and mumbled to each in Nebulanese to try and calm each other down.

The big and final fight against Time Warp had finally arrived. The biggest fight they will ever have against him. All their training better be worth it…

Their heart nearly stopped when a portal suddenly appeared and Time Warp leaped out. He looked momentarily surprised before he gave a dark chuckle.

“Eh, I thought Guardian Delle’s Sword would be too scared to come to our meeting place for our final fight,” Time Warp’s voice grumbled. His eyes narrowed as he studied them, “I see you are wearing some pathetic outfit.”

“We are here for our final fight, not to hear yer opinion of our outfit,” Estella spat in disgust.

“You sounds quite brave for someone that will be dying,” Time Warp chuckled darkly before he cracked his neck.

“Well, someone has to stop you from destroying the stars!” Estella stated bravely, “If it means our death, so be it!”

“No one will stop me from destroying the stars,” the vuoto roared with pure fury and his eyes glowed, “I will always try and destroy the stars, no matter what it takes! No matter if it will cost me my life! No matter if it will take forever to do it, I will succeed!”

“Forever is a long time,” Dr. Alma pointed out while Mr. Slick, Estella, and Bianca echoed her words.

The comment appeared to have turned the small flame of hate into a forest fire. The vuoto’s eyes glowed a brilliant white before he suddenly went on all fours. His body bulged and glowed white.

“Forever isn’t long if you need the stars to die!” Time Warp roared with a burning fury, ”They must die before I do!”

With one last roar, the vuoto suddenly disappeared from his foes’ sight before he suddenly teleported himself right behind them and was ready to blast a powerful beam at them. Just before he could land the killing blow, Dr. Alma quickly opened a few portals and pushed the others through before she teleported herself. They all landed on the spot their enemy had been moments before.

“So, you finally polished your skills up a bit?” he chuckled darkly, “So pointless, but at least you won’t die too soon.”

“We’ll see about that,” Bianca taunted before she and her friends charged at him, ready to attack.
