Two weeks had passed since the members of Guardian Delle’s Sword and the royal nursery had been tasked with looking after the mysterious eggs. Even though they weren’t certain what the species could be, they were quite happy with the current task.

But, they soon discovered the secret of the eggs.

“Al! Al! Come quick!” Mr. Slick called out to his wife as he was in Saffron’s bedroom. They had placed the incubator in their youngest daughter’s bedroom. He was holding Saffron in his arms.

“What is it?” the doctor asked as she entered the bedroom, “Oh my!”

The egg inside the incubator must have had hatched during the early hours of the morning. The hatchling continued to sleep, one of the shells used as a pillow. It made soft shimmering sounds, calling for its parents. Dr. Alma opened the incubator up and held the tiny being in her arms.

“I have never seen anyone that looks that ‘em before…” the salesman whispered, “Have ya?”

“No, I haven’t,” the doctor shook her head. Her nebulagram started to ring. She waved her tail over it, which made the hologram of Sally pop up.

“Alma! All the eggs hatched this morning!” Sally exclaimed, “They all look like that little furball in your hands,”

“What could they be?” Mr. Slick wondered out loud, “Perhaps we should ask Robert?”

“I will explain everything!” Robert’s voice echoed in the members of Guardian Delle’s Sword’s heads, “I will teleport you all to the palace,”

“I will be accompanying him,” Delle’s stern voice echoed, “He explained to me everything after I sensed them hatch earlier,”

After a few minutes, the members of Guardian Delle’s Sword (as well as the hatchling and Saffron) had been teleported to the palace’s royal nursery. They noticed how nervous the god of creativity is as he stood next to Guardian Delle. Sally appeared to be a bit annoyed as she stood close to the hatchlings.

“Greetings,” the blue goddess smiled as gave the group a friendly wave, “I am glad to see that you are well,”

“I would like to apologize to rope you all into this mess,” the grey god stated as he looked guiltily at the group, “When I was patrolling the multiverse, I found these eggs that were floating in the realm between the multiverses. I have a theory that when the universe they came from collapsed, it made a small rip that made them enter that realm. I don’t know how these eggs survived all that,”

“Wait, so these hatchlings are from another universe? So, that’s why we have no clue what they are?” Sally raised a brow.

“Correct,” Delle nodded, “The cosmolanians are similar to nebulanians, but there are differences. Thankfully, they will be able to adapt to this universe,”

“That’s good to hear,” Dr. Alma smiled, “We would like to know as much as possible since we would like to raise Oliver here,”

“I will do so,” Delle nodded before she gestured for them to gather around.
