“Devin,” Dr. Alma greeted curtly when she saw who was in the break room when she entered. She moved as quickly as she could to the kettle, trying her best to ignore him. She made certain to not make eye contact as she prepared her tea.

“Princess,” Dr. Blossom beamed before he approached her. He didn’t seem to notice that she tensed for a moment before he came closer, “I knew you couldn’t avoid me forever,”

“It’s not like I have a choice,” the nebulanian sighed, “The hospital needs the both of us, which means I have to push my personal feelings aside,”

“Oh Princess,” Dr. Blossom chuckled, “There is no need to hide your feelings. Both of us know what you truly think of me, right?”

“It’s pretty apparent what my true feelings are when it comes to you,” Dr. Alma stated firmly before she gave Dr. Blossom a glance that lasted only a second before she turned back to his teacup. She took a small sip as she ignored the confused frootie.

“Whatever happened to us? All those happy moments we had?”

“Hm, you do know the reason,” Dr. Alma pointed out, “I still have the papers to prove it to you.”

“You are still upset about that?”

Dr. Alma glared at Dr. Blossom before she hurried out of the break room.
