A worrying factor
“I did it. I found the book that has all the information we have yet heard about the legend of Guardian Delle’s Sword!” Dr. Alma proclaimed proudly.
“Boy howdy, that’s good!” Mr. Slick cheered while Estella and Bianca simply smiled in relief.
“Alright, please read what you found,” Estella encouraged.
“Legend has it that the goddess Guardian Delle had used parts of her soul to create her strongest weapon: Guardian Delle’s Sword.”
“Legend has it that their nebulanium level will be the highest ever in record history and that they will have the same energy rings as Guardian Delle. They will have special powers to help them defeat the evil Time Warp.”
“Legend has it that because Guardian Delle’s Sword has parts of her soul their reincarnation might also be immortal like the goddess.”
Dr. Alma looked up in surprise the moment she read the last sentence. She noticed the shock expressions of her companions.
“Immortal? That can’t be right…” Estella muttered under her breath. Bianca nodded in agreement.
“I agree with her, Al,” Mr. Slick admitted, “Boy howdy, it just doesn’t make sense…”
“I know what you mean. All four of us are past our prime already. We are still aging,” Alma sighed in defeat, “I found a grey hair this morning. If I was ageless and immortal then I shouldn’t get them!”
“Well, we did survive a lot of situations that could have gotten us killed…” Bianca pointed out.
“They are situations that anyone could survive if they rushed to the hospital and lucky,” Dr. Alma pointed out.
“Ah, the legend did say that we might be immortal, not that we would.” Mr. Slick pointed out.
“Good point. Well, we just have to be careful when Time Warp confronts us again.”
